Description
This network is aimed at those in school leadership teams who have responsibility for staff development and capacity building. Each of the afternoon sessions will focus on sharing new resources and thinking in the building teaching capacity space.
The afternoons will be structured as follows:
- an expert guest speaker on a topic
- sharing of work being done by members of the network relevant to the topic
- sharing of useful/relevant resources and articles
- general sharing of ideas among group members
It is intended that the discussions and presentations will draw on and complement the work done by AITSL. These network meetings aim to be responsive to members’ needs, however, in the interest of getting started the topics for the first two meetings will centre around:
16 February - New and experienced teacher induction programs & processes - Cancelled
12 May - Using student feedback to improve teaching
4 August - To be decided by group consensus
27 October - To be decided by group consensus
