Description

Launching in 2026, AISWA’s Middle Leaders Network is designed to encourage connection, collaboration, and professional growth among middle leaders across member schools. This network will convene through three interactive webinars during the year, creating a dedicated space for leaders to share experiences, explore strategies, and strengthen their leadership practice. Each session will spotlight current themes in teaching, learning and leading, encouraging reflective dialogue and practical problem-solving. Participants will build professional connections that support ongoing collaboration, deepen understanding of the middle leadership role, and enhance confidence in navigating complex responsibilities. While distinct from AISWA’s tailored modules, the network complements them by sustaining conversation and peer learning throughout the year. By engaging with colleagues and examining diverse perspectives, middle leaders will gain clarity, resilience, and actionable insights to lead effectively in dynamic school environments.

Outcomes

  • Build professional connections and shared understanding.
  • Engage in reflective dialogue to enhance leadership practice.
  • Explore strategies for leading teaching, learning, and wellbeing.
  • Strengthen confidence and clarity in the middle leadership role.
