Description

This workshop received such positive feedback, we would like to offer it to member schools’ middle leaders who were unable to attend in March. We will explore how to effectively lead curriculum, pedagogy and assessment practices across their teams. Participants will explore strategies to ensure that the curriculum they offer is knowledge-rich, well-sequenced and inclusive as well as how to support staff in implementing high-impact approaches to teaching and learning. Pillars of effective assessment will be discussed and shared.

Outcomes

By the end of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Plan how to use AITSL’s Middle Leader Standards
  • Identify areas for growth in your team’s curriculum, pedagogy and assessment practices
  • Make one leadership commitment to enact this week
