Description
Children’s story books are a springboard for creative and critical thinking where students can make mathematical connections between concepts and language. In this workshop we will explore good quality books which can lead to tasks that develop deep mathematical understanding for students.
Sheila is co-author with Dr Paul Swan of the series Teaching Mathematics Through Story Books. Each participant will receive a copy of one of these books relevant to the students they teach.
