Description

The Leading AI Adoption workshop equips school leaders and educators with the knowledge and practical tools needed to guide the effective integration of AI within their school context. Participants will examine the evolving role of AI in education, key ethical considerations, and strategies for fostering a culture of innovation and responsible use. The session explores policy development, professional learning approaches, and clear, actionable steps for creating an AI adoption roadmap aligned to each school’s needs and priorities. Through practical insights and real-world examples, the workshop supports leaders in navigating both the opportunities and challenges presented by AI. By the end of the session, participants will be better prepared to plan strategically, build staff capability, and lead AI implementation with confidence and clarity.

Simon is a specialist in artificial intelligence, Technologies, digital literacy, and ICT across the curriculum. He holds a Master of Education by Research degree (Education Leadership) and is a doctoral candidate. Simon has a keen interest in educational practice and has professional experience in Australia and abroad. He has developed his expertise through work as a teacher, academic and consultant.

While there is no onsite parking available, street parking is available along Walters Drive and surrounding streets, with a maximum fee of $5.50 per day.
