Description

This session will assist teachers, school leaders and schools in implementing effective Documented Plans for students who have disability and/or individual learning needs (e.g. Gifted, Health).
It will directly support staff in meeting their obligations in implementing effective Documented Plans / IEP, in catering for students with disability as required under the Disability Standards for Education 2005. It will also support schools in decision making as part of NCCD processes.

The processes of consultation, deciding upon adjustments/supports and/or learning goals to be implemented and documented, and the review of Documented Plans will be outlined.
Example formats and recommended strategies for collaboration, development, implementation and monitoring of Plans will also be discussed.
