Description
Meeting the needs of Gifted and Talented students in a mixed ability classroom can be a challenge as well as a joy! Participants in this free networking session will be given opportunity to have a go at some tried and tested approaches to differentiating for Gifted students, from both the teacher and student perspective. This informal session will also give plenty of opportunity for questions and the sharing of suggestions, ideas, challenges, stories and successful strategies.

Inclusive Education Consultant
Kate Stannard joined the Inclusive Education team at AISWA in February 2017. She studied to be a Primary teacher in London, teaching there for a number of years before moving to Perth in 2005. Through her time in the classroom, Kate has developed a passion to see all students actively engaged with their own learning. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Education and English Literature, a Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and a Masters of Education (Special Learning Needs).
