Description
Join us for a practical workshop tailored for board members of Independent schools. Serving on a school board is a rewarding but demanding role, requiring a strong sense of responsibility and accountability. This session will help you clearly distinguish between the board’s strategic oversight and the principal’s day-to-day management. You’ll explore how to meet Non-Government School Registrar requirements and implement best-practice governance. Learn strategies for supporting your principal with effective guidance and oversight, while ensuring your school remains compliant and forward-thinking. Participants will gain practical insights and tools to enhance governance, foster collaborative decision-making, and contribute to the school’s long-term success. Ideal for new and experienced board members alike, this workshop sets you up for confident, effective governance in the Australian Independent school sector.
