Description
Gifted and Talented students are often identified as being at risk of not reaching their full potential. This full day course, which will be run collaboratively with the Catholic Education Office, will investigate each aspect of a Gifted student's journey through school with the aim of a deepened understanding of how to meet their needs effectively. Sessions will be based around: school policy, types of giftedness and identification, pull out and acceleration options, differentiation in a multi-ability classroom, documenting and reporting adjustments, plus the chance to network, share ideas, raise queries and move forwards in your own understanding of Gifted Education however best suits your role.
