Early Childhood Network Meeting 2 – The Counting Trajectory

AISWA Curriculum Consultant Kristin Humphrey’s will be unpacking the ‘Counting Trajectory’ created by Dr Paul Swan & Kelly Norris. The trajectory focuses on the development of the counting skills to Year 2, which are the building blocks for all mathematics. We will look at assessment questions, the 5 ‘hot spots’ that can cause issues affecting counting development and practical activities that link to the trajectory.
