Description

This webinar is an information session for the CSIRO STEM Professionals in Schools program.

STEM Professionals in Schools has been operating since 2007 to facilitate flexible, ongoing partnerships between science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) professionals and teachers in schools across Australia. Teachers and STEM professionals are individually matched and work together to increase teachers’ and students’ STEM skills, knowledge and confidence through a range of activities. Over the past year, the program has rolled out an online, scaffolded initiative to support partnerships for teachers in regional and remote schools. In this presentation, the program’s Education Relationship Manager, Maria Barrett, will provide an overview of the program and the online regional and remote initiative.
