Diana is a qualified CPA Accountant, having worked as a Business Manager for a K-12 Day & Boarding school for 15 years.

Nigel joined AISWA in 2017 after 18 years with the Independent Education Union of WA, including 16 as Assistant Secretary (Industrial Relations). He is known for building strong relationships across the education sector and providing reliable, timely advice. At AISWA, Nigel supports member schools on industrial relations, HR and workplace health and safety, and provides guidance on legal matters, including staff and student welfare, duty of care, and discrimination issues.
Jane Schwarzinger (AISWA Staff)

Jane is AISWA’s Policy, Industrial and Workplace Relations Consultant, specialising in governance, compliance, and employment law for independent schools. She offers strategic and practical guidance to school leaders on workplace relations, staff management, and legal obligations. Jane holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Certificate in Investigative Services, and qualifications in training, business, and occupational health and safety, enabling her to help schools navigate complex regulations and implement effective, compliant practices with confidence.

As the newly appointed Wellbeing Manager at AISWA, Lucy brings over 30 years of experience in education and leadership across the Independent and Catholic sectors. A dedicated advocate for wellbeing, Lucy is passionate about creating supportive environments and opportunities that allow both staff and students to drive positive outcomes and flourish. Her role involves fostering meaningful partnerships, delivering leadership consultancy, and providing professional learning for member schools. With a strong focus on whole-school wellbeing initiatives, particularly in Consent and Respectful Relationships Education (CRRE), Lucy is committed to ensuring that member schools feel supported in cultivating inclusive and thriving communities.
