Description

This workshop is most suitable for School Leaders, Principals, Business Managers and IT Managers. The Digital Privacy, Safety and Security messages and information are pertinent for schools of all sizes and would be particularly helpful for small schools.

The term 'digital transformation' is a popular buzzword used in organisations undergoing significant changes involving people, processes and technology. The most successful transformation projects share an approach that is holistic, methodical, led by a clear vision and, importantly, underpinned by robust digital privacy, safety and security principles. These elements encourage confidence and provide the solid structure for organisations to move forward.

In partnership with AISWA, RTG is pleased to offer a 4 hour workshop to AISWA schools focusing on the strategic and operational 'how’ of digital transformation for your school’s context. Whether your school is already on a ‘digital transformation’ journey, or just at the beginning, this workshop will introduce you to the core elements that will set the foundation for its success, i.e.:

  • data driven and secure environments,
  • leadership and policy,
  • support for C21 teaching and personalised learning and
  • technology systems and infrastructure.

By attending this 4-hour workshop, participants will:

  • Know where to start when creating a roadmap for digital transformation in their school context
  • Gain insight into the creation of a stable technology environment to support a school’s educational and business needs
  • Strengthen their understanding of leveraging technology to support teaching and learning
  • Increase their knowledge about digital privacy, cyber security and keeping student data safe in a connected learning environment
  • Consider what metrics can be used to measure the efficacy and success of a transformation project
