The AISWA Website School Admin workshop will refresh participants with the AISWA website and School Account management procedures
The workshop is designed to provide a better understanding of how the website functions, reasons for maintaining accurate school data, and Professional Learning registrations. It will also include an update on new functions added over the holiday break.
Topics to be covered will include:
- Assisting staff access AISWA resources and directing communications to the appropriate people at your school.
- Providing access to the school account and the importance of assigning correct roles for staff.
- Managing the School Account and the responsibility of updating school information.

Registration from 1.00pm for a 1.30pm start. AISWA staff will be available for tech support before and throughout the workshop.
Who should attend?
A School Admin, assigned by a Principal, is a user who acts as the AISWA Website Administrator on behalf of a member school or organisation.
Information about the website and group roles is available via AISWA's Member Portal Help section.
Attendees should bring their own device on the day, ensure it is fully charged and you have an active AISWA member account to participate in the workshop.
Some loan devices will be made available to participants on the day if required.
Users with the School Admin role are responsible for managing access to the school account, receiving notification when a new user requests to join the school. They can approve or deny access and assign roles to other users at the school depending on what privileges they require. The School Admin can also manage the School Account including school details, jobs, enrolments, professional learning history and surveys.
Users with the Principal role has unrestricted access to manage the School Account including school details, staff, jobs, enrolments, professional learning history, surveys and applications. In addition, the Principal (or a user assigned by the Principal) must approve all online applications through the website before they are actioned by AISWA.

Project Officer
David Gould is the IT Project Officer with AISWA where he has responsibility for delivery of appropriate IT solutions in line with AISWA initiatives. In particular providing support for the AISWA website administration and future developments; support for Sharepoint 2016 and other IT projects as they arise. David’s background, while in IT, also includes working in the hospitality industry and running his own business enterprise for five years.
Jessica King (AISWA Staff)
Project Officer
Jessica King is the Digital Media, Marketing and ICT Project Officer at AISWA. In this role she is responsible for a variety of projects and initiatives across all departments at AISWA. She has over years of experience within the Graphic Design field and has completed a Bachelor in Creative Services (Graphic Design) and a Masters in Business (Leadership).
