Description
AISWA have planned eight early childhood leaders breakfast mornings over the year, each with a focussed topic of conversation and a guest speaker. Our goal is to build awareness and facilitate discussion around key understandings relating to early childhood education.
Emotions can be loud, messy and often confusing. Early childhood teachers play a pivotal role in supporting young children in their growing understanding and regulation of emotions. This journey is not always easy as children come to school with such varied early childhood experiences. This session aims to explore the science behind emotional regulation in the early years, what to expect and how to support young children when adverse early experiences have made this developmental process more challenging.
