Description

21st Century Learning Design (21CLD) is an evidence based approach to curriculum design that makes a powerful difference to learning by focusing on teachers as learning architects, and showing them how to design learning that actively develops these capabilities in students based on research and evidence. In this course teachers will learn about the skills and competencies that our students need to be successful in work and life in the 21st century; they will explore each of the six 21st Century skills in detail; measure these key skills and examine learning activities and student work using 21CLD dimensions. Teachers will benefit by sharing Learning Design, having clarity around Learning Design, and planning better learning activities. Students will benefit from richer learning experiences, building learning ownership and engagement, and developing 21st Century skills.
