Pacific Rim International Camp 2016

Pacific Rim International Camp (PRIC) is a scholarship camp program that provides a forum of international exchange for youths of the Pacific Rim region. The camp is supported by corporate and individual contributions and operated by Approved NPO Pacific Rim International Student Camp and volunteer staff. Together we create an ideal outdoor-oriented summer educational experience for high school-aged campers from countries and region around the Pacific Ocean; those representatives are Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New-Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States.

Department of Fire and Emergency Services Resources

In December 2015, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) released the Map of Bush Fire Prone Areas and bushfire risk was identified as a significant issue for WA schools. DFES are working with the DoE to determine the bushfiire risk at these sites, as well as suitable risk treatment plans.

DFES already has a free award winning, curriculum linked School Aged Education resources for a range of hazard. Teachers can easily access and download these resources from the new Expired Link

Peer Support Australia

Positive Thinking = Positive Action

Peer Support Australia provides school communities with an evidence based, peer led approach to enhance the mental, social and emotional wellbeing of young people. The Peer Support Program is integrated into curricula and sustained through all year groups. It supports positive cultural change within schools by incorporating a range of strategies developed through collaboration with members of the whole school community for the specific needs of the school.
