This year’s solemn remembrance of Kristallnacht — the 81st anniversary of the “Night of Broken Glass,” 1938 — is to be held at 5:00pm, Sunday 10 November. The occasional address is to be given by Malcolm McCusker AC CVO QC, on the topic “Evil creeps back, if good people stand aside.” The event is expected to conclude at approx. 6:15pm.
Please advise the CCJWA Secretary, Dr Mary Marshall (maryjmarshall@amnet.net.au) of numbers attending (staff, students, and parents) before Monday 4 November, so that seating may be reserved for your school group, and special arrangements (parking and seating) made for any attendees with limited mobility. Early responses are recommended.
