Description
Literacy Bites is a series of workshops led by literacy specialists, each exploring a different aspect of K–6 literacy teaching. The sessions are fully stand-alone, allowing educators to attend one, several, or the entire series based on their interests and professional needs.
In the final session, AISWA Literacy Consultant Kerry Handley will explore key considerations for supporting EALD learners, including beliefs about language acquisition and the importance of valuing students’ linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
