About the Role
Frederick Irwin Anglican School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced educator to take on the position of Upper Primary Coordinator (Years 3–6) at our Meadow Springs Campus. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to help shape the learning experience of our upper primary students within a supportive, values-driven school community.
The role is split between a 0.5FTE teaching load and a 0.5FTE coordination responsibility, allowing you to remain actively engaged in the classroom while also leading curriculum and staff development. As a key member of the Primary Leadership Team, you will work closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Primary to design and deliver engaging, high-quality programs that ensure continuity of learning across the primary years.
We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner with:
- A strong understanding of primary education (Years 3–6) and curriculum development
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to guide and mentor colleagues
- A commitment to innovation, excellence, and student wellbeing
- The vision to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative learning culture
This is a full-time ongoing position, commencing at the start of the 2026 school year.
Frederick Irwin Anglican School teacher salaries are generally 2.5% above the comparable Department of Education of Western Australia rates.

The successful candidate will:
- Hold a current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board
- Hold a current Working with Children Check
- Hold the appropriate academic qualifications, including a post graduate diploma or integrated undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education or have, in the opinion of the School Principal, sufficient experience as an early childhood educator
- Ability to work in a co-operative team environment
