We are experiencing a period of exciting growth and are seeking additional teachers within our Secondary School. We invite expressions of interest from enthusiastic Humanities educators to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity for the 2026 school year.

Position Summary

Teachers in our Secondary School are responsible for delivering a Christ-centred, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for students in Years 7–12. This role includes teaching Humanities subjects across various year levels, including ATAR Geography. The successful applicant will plan and deliver high-quality curriculum, foster academic excellence, and support the social, emotional, and spiritual development of students.

The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and leadership to uphold the College’s vision and values, contribute to a positive and respectful classroom culture, and actively support student wellbeing and achievement within the Secondary School community.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications as a teacher including experience with the WA & Australian Curriculum or a similar School Curriculum.     

  • All applicants must be registered to teach in Western Australia with the TRBWA (Teacher Registration Board), have a current Federal Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.      

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • Experience in teaching Humanities in Years 7-12 will be a distinct advantage. 

 

Candidate Profile

You will be:

  • A practicing Christian, aligned with and committed to modelling the College’s ethos and core values (Pastor’s reference required)

  • Enthusiastic about nurturing the “whole child”—academically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially

  • Innovative and adaptable, balancing teacher-directed instruction with student-centred learning strategies

  • Collegial, well-organised, and proactive with strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Registered or eligible to register with the TRBWA, with current clearances (Working With Children, Federal Police, as required)

  • Remuneration for this position will be determined dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
