About the Role
A rare opportunity exists for a highly organised, enthusiastic, relationship focused professional for the role of Primary School Wellbeing Officer. This is a critical role in supporting the wellbeing of students across our Primary School at the Meadow Springs and Halls Head campuses and is funded through the National Student Wellbeing Program. You will have excellent communication skills, be customer service focused, collaborative, able to use initiative and work unsupervised. Reporting to the Principal and working with Heads of School and Deputies you will collaborate to ensure students are provided with a high level of pastoral care.
This is a part-time 0.4FTE, position starting in Term 4 2025 or sooner by negotiation.
Responsibility
The School Wellbeing Officer is responsible to the Heads of School and Deputy Heads of School for the support of student wellbeing across the Primary Schools. The School Wellbeing Officer is focused on student welfare and creating a source of support for students through pastoral care, organising activities and clubs and coordinating excursions, incursions, and parent workshops.
Other responsibilities include liaising with staff and parents on strategies for students in need, ensuring that the best care is provided for each student; referring students in need to other health care providers and agencies; assisting in the preparation and delivery of wellbeing programmes in the School.

The Primary School Wellbeing Officer will ensure that all work carried out is consistent with the philosophy, ethos, policy and practice of the School.
