About the role: Primary Education Assistant

 

 

Are you ready to embark on an exciting adventure in education? Look no further! We're seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Primary School Relief Education Assistant.

 

As a Primary School Relief Education Assistant, you'll be the superhero behind the scenes, supporting teaching and student learning in Kindergarten, Pre-Primary, and Primary School classes. From helping out in the kindergarten sandbox to navigating the wilds of the primary school playground, no two days will be the same!

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • A passion for education and a desire to make a difference.
  • Appropriate qualifications as an Educational Assistant (Certificate 3 minimum).
  • Superhuman collaboration skills - you'll be working side by side with our amazing teaching team!
  • A heart of gold and a commitment to Christian values. 
  • Dedication to creating a safe and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices.
  • To accept the College’s Statement of Faith.
  • Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents.
  • Work to ensure personal best practice.
  • Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair.
  • Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication.
  • Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos.
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.
  • First Aid certificate is desirable.
  • Working With Children Card.
