We are seeking a strategic thinker with strong expertise in industrial relations, policy, and workplace matters to join our dynamic team.
The Policy, Industrial and Workplace Relations Consultant will support independent schools across Western Australia by providing expert advice, developing resources, leading strategic projects, and delivering professional learning in policy, industrial, and workplace relations. The role is integral to ensuring compliance, supporting best practices, and enhancing the capacity of school leaders in this complex space.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager, School Operations Support.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Comprehensive knowledge of the WA Industrial Relations system and the Fair Work Commission.

Exceptional communication and consultation skills, both written and verbal.

Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering successful initiatives.

Experience in policy, industrial relations and/or legal professions.

An understanding of the breadth and diversity of Independent Schools in WA.

Experience working in school or educational settings, including with culturally responsive practices.

The ability to deliver engaging and relevant professional learning to varied audiences.

A relevant degree in Industrial Relations or Law is essential.
