HillSide Christian College is an evangelical, Christian school located in Forrestfield, with an approximate enrolment of 460 students from 4 year-old Kindy to Year 12.

ABOUT THE ROLE
HillSide Christian College is seeking a skilled music teacher to commence from Term One, 2026 teaching Year 1 through to Year 8. The teaching load is mainly in the primary school section with only four periods teaching Years 7 & 8.
The position is a one-year fixed term contract to provide leave cover during 2026. There may be the possibility of extension at the end of the Contract.
Salary is based on the HillSide Teacher Pay Scale and negotiable on qualifications and experience.
KEY EXPECTATIONS
The successful applicant will be practising evangelical Christian who is able to demonstrate and work within the College’s Christian framework. All teachers will need to accept the College’s Code of Conduct (including Statement of Faith) and meet all compliance requirements. All teachers are expected to be able to teach from a Christian worldview.
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants should be able to demonstrate their personal faith in Jesus Christ as God and Saviour and be an active member of an evangelical Christian Church. An applicant should be a dynamic teacher with high-level skills, proven experience and the desire to work within a Christian team setting.

Current CV outlining qualifications, church membership, professional referees, contact details, and career history;

Include a brief statement of your Christian Faith and a written reference or the contact details of a Pastor/Elder who may be contacted for a verbal reference in regard to the applicant’s Christian faith, character and practice;

A copy of compliance documents named in the dot points below:
- a current Working with Children Card (WWCC)
- a current TRBWA registration;
