Emmanuel Christian Community School a co-educational K-12 institution in Perth’s northern suburbs has been nurturing students since 1982 and now serves over 750 students. Applications are invited from innovative and dynamic Christian teachers qualified to teach Maths in Years 7-8. This is a part-time position starting in Term 1, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of quality Mathematics teaching programs in secondary school.
There will be opportunities for professional development and mentorship.
The successful applicant will:

actively demonstrate a commitment to promote the objectives and ethos of Christian Education as articulated in the Vision and Mission of the School.

be a Christian, belong to a church and called to this ministry.

demonstrate proficiency in the Western Australian Curriculum.

demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills.

demonstrate initiative, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
-
Deliver lessons in Mathematics to Years 7 – 8

Work collaboratively with the Mathematics Learning Areas to produce fair and educative assessments and improve on teaching programs with relation to the needs of current students.
Selection Criteria:
-
Experience teaching Mathematics (Years 7-8)
-
The capacity to design creative and engaging educational opportunities for students which support their growth as independent and resilient learners

Experience with ICT skills
-
Excellent English oral and written literacy skills

Organisational and administrative skills
-
Experience / ability to teach Maths courses to Years 9-12 students would be an advantage
