Providence Christian College is a co-educational, non-denominational Kindergarten to Year 12 College with over 1,150 students, located in the beautiful Southern River.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following Part-Time contract in the Secondary School:
Secondary Science Laboratory Technician (0.2 FTE - 1 day per week):
Commencement Date: January 2026
The successful applicant will:
-
work in partnership with Science teaching staff to provide effective learning outcomes for Science students.

They require effective communication skills, the capacity to take on responsibility, and to work independently, and should possess good organisational skills.

work under the direction of the Head of Science.

assist with Middle School Science and Senior School Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Science in Practice classes.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum: Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent/higher.

A current Working with Children Check
-
A current National Police Clearance (issued in the last 3 months)

Sound Literacy and Numeracy skills

Additional Requirements:

The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principals Child Safe Modules if not already completed
