Education Assistant – Braille (part-time)

Perth Waldorf School Invites applications for Education Assistant – Braille (part-time) Commencing Term 1, 2022. “At Perth Waldorf School we are committed to promoting the safety, health and wellbeing of children and young people and expect all school staff, parents, students, volunteers and visitors to the school to share that commitment.” The school is located in a bush land setting near Bibra Lake in the southern suburbs of Perth (approx. 20 minutes from the CBD and 15 minutes from Fremantle). We provide a Steiner education from Playgroup to Class 12. PWS is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the school in the role of Education Assistant – Braille. This is an opportunity for a person with braille transcribing skills, or someone who is strongly interested in and committed to undergo training, to contribute to the education of an upper primary student with vision impairment (with the possibility of working with that student into the High School).
