Full-time and/or Part Time Positions Commencing Term 1 2024
Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48-hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic, experienced and well-qualified professionals for the position of Economics Teacher, initially for 2024, with the possibility of ongoing employment.
The successful applicant will:
- have the capacity to teach up to and including Year 12 ATAR Economics
- have experience teaching Accounting and Finance or Business Management and Enterprise General (desirable but not essential)
- be familiar with the Western Australian Curriculum
- have an understanding of, and empathy for, the learning needs and social, emotional and spiritual development of boys
- have a firm commitment to independent schooling and a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican traditions
- hold appropriate academic and teaching qualifications
- have current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia, or be eligible for registration
- have a current Working with Children (WWC) check.
