Applications are invited from experienced Educational Assistants to support teachers in a CARE school environment with students in years 7-12 with Special Needs.
Sowilo Community High School is a small independent CARE (Curriculum and Re-engagement) school which aims to prepare young people for their life journey, empowering them to become creative, responsible adults who are able to make a positive contribution to their community. Sowilo offers the Australian high school curriculum tailored to meet individual students’ needs and also many exciting enrichment programs including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Aquaponics/Sustainability and Trek excursions.

Essential:
- Certificate IV in Education Support
- Current Working With Children Check
- The ability to support teachers teaching and knowledge of the Australian Curriculum

The role is a FTE 1.0 fixed contract commencing immediately. A generous salary will be offered to the right candidate.
