Iona Presentation College is pleased to offer an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Business Manager.  This leadership role works closely with the Principal to oversee the College's financial, administrative, and operational functions. The Business Manager plays a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance, supports continuous improvement initiatives and contributes to the overall success and improvement of the College. This role supports the strategic plan and vision of the College as a learning community, with a commitment to their ongoing professional development.

The successful applicant will be a qualified and dedicated professional who demonstrates the ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders in a timely, respectful and professional manner.

 

The successful candidate will need to display:

 

  • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting and risk assessment. 

  • Strong leadership, strategic planning and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a senior leadership team. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated understanding of compliance and governance in an educational setting. 

  • Experience in property and asset management. 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business or a related field.

  • Support strategic decision-making with data and analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and school policies.

  • A commitment to ongoing Professional Development and personal growth.

  • Supportive of the Catholic ethos and the Presentation traditions and practices of the College.

     

Applicants must hold a current CPA or CA qualification.

Previous experience in Catholic or Independent school would be an advantage.
