We are seeking dedicated teachers to join our unique community and to become Advisory Teachers.2 positions in Bunbury Campus1 position Busselton CampusWe need teachers who are willing to share their interests, passions and stories with the students. We need teachers who are  enthused and excited by finding out what the students are interested in and developing learning plans that help each one grow and move towards their goals. We require teachers who will help each and every student to matter, who can see and value their culture, talents and interests, who can help them fit by changing the school and classroom to meet their needs and who can help them work with family and community support.Overall, we need teachers who never give up on any student.  The AdvisoryEach Advisory Class is a small community within the school.  As an Advisory Teacher you will work with your advisory students most days and most of each day.  In this way Advisory is like an extended family.  Students are expected to become respectful, caring and productive members of the Advisory group.  The Advisory teacher’s role is to teach, inspire, provoke, bond, organise and manage learning. You will negotiate Student Learning Plans, convene meetings with students, parents and mentors, help students develop extended projects and prepare for exhibitions.  Advisory teachers take responsibility for student learning across the curriculum including literacy and numeracy and also lead the pastoral care of the student.  If you are the right person you will get the opportunity to work with this group of young people through to the end of year 12.  The BenefitsOur culture embraces diversity and innovation.
