Our Philosophy
At Eton Farm Primary School, we believe that education is a collaborative effort between students, parents, and educators. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that accommodates the unique learning styles of every child and instills lifelong learning skills.
We understand that every child learns at a different pace and has unique learning needs. Therefore, we offer small class sizes, spacious school grounds, and a curriculum that supports independent learning. Our teachers are highly proficient and passionate, committed to fostering a love of learning in their students.
Our Integrated Educational Program is designed to foster the diversity of our students, providing them with the freedom to explore their strengths and interests. We encourage cooperative and collaborative learning, recognizing that the child is at the center of the program.
Music and movement Education and Environmental Education are important components of our program, along with Visual Arts, Language, and Physical Education. Our Music & Movement program is based on Carl Orff’s approach – Orff Schulwerk, which has strong links with many other learning areas.
We believe that the mode of delivery for all learning areas should be face-to-face interactions that incorporate authentic and concrete hands-on learning. Our open-plan classrooms and outdoor areas are specifically designed to foster these experiences, and we place a strong emphasis on the natural environment to provide learning experiences that align with the Western Australian Curriculum.
At Eton Farm Primary School, our goal is to offer parents a holistic and creative educational experience for their children. Our programs stress acceptance, tolerance, and responsibility, and teach healthy life skills so that our children grow into confident, cooperative, and productive members of society.
