Description

This workshop provides a chance to explore apps and equipment suitable for the classroom integration of virtual and augmented reality and 3D environments. AR and VR can be successfully used to engage students in learning but there is further value in equipping them to create their own environments and objects. This requires a balance of critical and creative thinking and is perfect for project work. Participants will investigate AR apps (overlaying virtual created objects on real spaces), create immersive VR environments (using CoSpaces and ClassVR), create 3D objects using Merge Cube and explore various VR and AR apps suitable for the age-group.

The option of joining an extended AISWA VR STEM project will be offered.

Bring your own device(s) or borrow ours.
Please ensure you have permission to install apps if you need to.
