Description

VET Certificate courses in Applied Language offer an alternative to ATAR Languages courses and can be integrated into existing courses from Years 9-12. Such courses offer a practical, hands-on and real-life approach to language learning and lead to nationally recognised qualifications. This session will provide information on how to establish VET courses, the assessment process and requirements.

Ripponlea Institute is a Registered Training Organisation auspicing the VET Applied Language qualifications in secondary schools throughout Australia. Languages currently available include Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.  Ripponlea Principal and Languages Consultant, Sarah Pavy, will be conducting an information session about setting up and delivering the VET Certificate courses, including Q and A to address specific questions from individual schools.
