This is an opportunity to meet personally with Dr Joanne Orlando from the University of Western Sydney who is a leading expert in the field of children and education (see presenter information below). Engage with her research about technology in early childhood education and join a professional discussion around the effective use of technology in these settings. With a PhD focusing on children and technology, Joanne is passionate about ensuring that every child has the capacity to reach his or her full potential in today’s techno-centric world.

There will be a 30-40 minute presentation from Joanne about her work and then we will utilise the rest of the time for Q&A and discussion about the WA context for technology and the early years.
