Description
Toileting is a key early‑childhood milestone, and educators play an essential role in supporting children and families through this stage. This practical, evidence‑informed session is designed for PK–Year 2 teachers who want to build confidence, clarity, and effective communication around toileting at school. Presented by Tracy Hart, psychologist, educator, and long‑time leader in Perth’s independent schools, the session draws on Prosper Health Academy’s clinical expertise to provide clear, developmentally informed strategies you can use straight away. It offers a supportive space to deepen understanding, refine practice, and strengthen partnerships with families, helping young learners feel safe, capable, and supported as they grow.
Outcomes
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the developmental, physical, social, and cultural factors that influence toileting.
- Apply practical strategies for toilet readiness and toilet learning.
