Description
Funding for students with disabilities is important for assisting schools in financially supplementing the support provided to these students. This session is specifically for those new to or inexperienced with the Special Education State Per Capita Funding (IE Funding) process. It will assist you in fully understanding the requirements and process in order to gain funding for students with disabilities. In this session, we will be reviewing the recently updated criteria and documentation requirements. The online funding process will also be clearly explained with time for questions and discussion.
N.B A funding update webinar will be run on 09th February 2024 for those already experienced with the Special Education State Per Capita Funding (IE Funding) process.

Simon has worked in the Education Support Special Needs Education field for over a decade in both Department and Non-Government schools. He has worked in Education Support and mainstream settings with a wide range of students with differing levels of need. Simon is also an Occupational Therapist who has worked in private practice. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge in disability and brings a holistic but pragmatic view to his Inclusive Education Consultant role at AISWA.
