This Network Day is an opportunity for HOLAs and other interested teachers to meet and discuss current issues in the teaching of Secondary English, share resources and ideas, and engage in professional learning.
This networking session is conducted in conjunction with Catholic Education WA.

9.00am An introduction to the English 7-10 Support Materials (Exemplars). Presenter:
Francoise Purdue (SCSA)
10.30am Morning Tea
11.00am Exemplars Workshop – Exploring and planning with the Exemplars.
This session will involve looking in detail at the materials for the particular Year Level of your choice, and using them in planning for your school.
12.30pm Lunch
1.15pm Teacher presentations
1.45pm Scope and Sequence – Participants will be invited to share how their school uses the English Scope and Sequence through Years 7-10. This will be an opportunity to share great ideas, and to hear from others how they utilise this element of the syllabus.
2.30pm English ATAR update – Presenter: John Crooks (CEWA)
2.45pm Highlights from the landscapes of Learning AATE Conference
