ACE Data Review Workshop
Students WACE and WASSA results provide schools with huge amounts of data that can be mined by teachers to reflect on their own and students’ performances.
Student’s raw scores are standardised and moderated by the SCSA and TISC to come up with an ATAR score. But who is responsible for what and how is it done? What is the influence of small group moderation, exam difficulty, breaking the rules and student effort on the final ATAR, WACE or WASSA?
This workshop will take participants through the data that is provided by the SCSA to show how to interpret it to understand areas of concern and areas of strength in student achievement. This will lead onto reflection of teachers’ teaching and learning programs to help improve their students’ achievement in 2017.
Please note that all AISWA member regional schools will have the option to participate in a live online session of this workshop - there are limited spots so please register here
