Description

Unforeseen circumstances mean a change of arrangements for next Monday’s (May 21) PL. Our session will now run from 4.00 - 5.30pm with the renowned Moerlina afternoon tea from 3.30 – 4.00 pm. Our apologies if this causes a disruption to your plans. We have planned a targeted informative discussion/workshop to help focus your thoughts about moderating writing in the early years.

To script this PL tightly, along with the requests forwarded earlier (5/5/2018):

We have decided to use the SCSA Assessment Tasks for our moderation session.

Please see attached the PP and Year 1 Assessment tasks and below for the Year 2 task.

Once completed, no need to mark, don't forget to bring them along with you.

Year 2: Students are asked to write a narrative text creating characters from fairytales. They included specific details about each character and incorporated dialogue.

Prior to the task: Read the children a fairytale and talk about the characters the author created and pay attention to the dialogue the author used.

Please email to jdickinson@ais.wa.edu.au one (1) piece of writing from the above from your group before WEDNESDAY OF THIS WEEK (May16). These pieces will be used directly in the PL.

This is an afternoon session with a light meal provided.  Please note dietary requirements when booking.
