Description
This hands-on workshop aims to introduce you to the world of coding and the endless possibilities for your classroom.
Coding, or computer programming, is a valuable tool in helping learners develop computational thinking. This workshop will use a variety of accessible resources to introduce you to coding and develop cross-curricular activities for your classroom.
This workshop is suitable for beginner coders; we will use visual programming environments. We will explore how to engage in various elements of the Digital Technologies curriculum and challenge you to develop activities integrating outcomes from other learning environments.
Due to the learner-led focus of this session, it is recommended that participants bring a laptop computer. Arrangements can be made for those who are unable to do so.
