Description
This event is organised into two components: two consecutive days of face-to-face professional learning and one online element.
Face-to-face professional learning:
The two-day hands-on workshop will involve an exploration of various digital tools which can be used to engage, extend and enhance student learning. You will create a portfolio of digital artifacts that are curriculum aligned and and can be immediately used in your learning context. The activities throughout the workshop will be connected to the ICT General Capabilities and strongly underpinned by the 4Cs: communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking. Concurrently, you will develop and apply your analytical and evaluative skills of educational ICT usage and integration. These form the basis for effective leadership in educational ICT integration.
Online element:
On completion of the face-to-face workshops, you will be provided with exclusive access to an online course where you are able to revisit previously discussed concepts and demonstrate your understanding. It is not mandatory to complete the online component of this course, although, it is necessary if you wish to be awarded with you digital credentials. To get your badge you must complete a short multiple choice quiz and submit your portfolio of artifacts that you have created in the workshops.
