Description
Facilitated by David and Clare Price, this two-day immersion program for teachers and/or teams of teachers provides everything you need to get started with PBL. Participants will receive a USB with resources, tools and materials (including a PBL manual) to get you started.
This workshop will address what PBL is (and isn't); the key ingredients to effective PBL; how to design, plan, execute and assess great projects for students; doing the project yourself; how to time a project; protocols to enable students to critique their work; building in differentiation and personalisation; how to exhibit and archive projects; and assessment strategies.

Clare Price
Clare Price is an Arts Education Consultant with over 20 years experience of working in the arts and education as a practising artist, lecturer, artist in schools and communities, and as a strategic manager. Over the last 4 years she has worked as a freelance consultant, producer, trainer and facilitator in the UK and in Australia. Prior to this she worked as Head of Arts Development for ArtForms, supporting school improvement and the arts in over 250 schools in Leeds.
