The specific demands of the English Foundation and English General are targeted in this PL. Teachers have the opportunity to share relevant resources and knowledge.
This course is run in conjunction with CEWA.
Gerard Morris and Fran Purdue, Principal Consultants for the English Learning Area, will present a workshop on Improving Student Writing. Text choices to help engage students will be discussed and there will be lots of opportunities to share insights, ideas, and inspiration.

John has worked in education for 34 years, and is currently Secondary English and Performing Arts Consultant with Catholic Education Western Australia Ltd. He has taught in remote and urban schools. Before becoming a teacher, he worked as a musician, and in theatre.
