Description
Participants will solve open-ended problems, engage in contextual mathematical tasks, get immersed in KenKen and use dominoes to connect with the Australian Curriculum Proficiencies. You take away a Paul Swan Domino Deductions book and get to keep your dominoes too!

David has worked with AISWA for 15 years as a Numeracy Consultant. He taught mathematics to rural students in WA for 28 years. David regularly presents at state and national conferences, and delivers ‘hands-on’ workshops, which includes, “A Whole School Approach to Teaching Place Value” and “Using Cards and Counters to Link the Proficiencies”. In collaboration with Dr Paul Swan, David has co-authored many books, which includes the “Check the Clues” series, “My Word Book: Mathematics” and the 2024 published, “Mathematics Games with School Friendly Cards Book 3”.
