Early Childhood Network Professional Learning - Fitzroy

AISWA is providing a follow up professional learning and networking opportunity for Early Years Educators in AICS – Kimberley.

This 1 and a 1/2 day workshop will follow on from the network meeting in Term 2 and dig deeper focussing on;

- Assessment for learning by sharing understanding, resources and ideas about using evidence of students' knowledge, understanding and skills to inform their teaching. 

- Using the EAL/D - progression maps and ACARA Learning progressions as support material. 

- Planning for intentional Play Based Learning and environments to support multi age classrooms.
 
- Supporting Educators to implement the AISWA Kimberley Early Years Support (KEYS) initiative in schools, using strategies and resources from the Abecedarian Approach Australia. This is designed as a prior to school program for families and staff.
