Description

AISWA are pleased to offer a session on Mathematics Intervention and Support using Bond blocks presented by Narelle Rice and Dr Paul Swan.

Join Paul and Narelle for Professional Learning that is specifically for Kindy and Pre-Primary.
During this interactive session Paul and Narelle will:

• Give you a Counting Skills Sequence to link the Kindy and Pre-Primary Maths Curriculums.
• Explore the top five predictors of difficulties in maths, identified by research, for students who are 4 and 5 years old.
• Share evidence-informed strategies to help address these.

Some of the top tips will come from Narelle and Paul’s newly released resources:
“Counting to 10 with Bond Blocks: Pre-Foundation”
“Counting to 20 with Bond Blocks: Foundation”

These resources include Assessment Checklists and are linked to the ABLEWA curriculum to support students with learning disabilities.
