Description
In this workshop we will explore the creativity features in Windows 10, focusing on 3D objects, Mixed Reality and video editing – and how these can be used to enhance learning and teaching.
• Explore the new Paint 3D app to create and edit 3D objects.
• Enhance your videos with 3D objects and animated characters to tell stories in a whole new way with mixed reality and amazing special effects. Draw on a photo with Windows Ink to highlight something for your audience. Draw on a video, and the ink will track an object in your scene. You can use your own music, or let Story Remix supply a soundtrack that is customized to match your story.
• Experience Mixed reality: drop 3D objects into the real world, resize them then, using the Mixed Reality Viewer, walk around the object and see it from all sides.
• Learn, play and share ideas for using the new features of Windows 10 in the classroom.
• Hear about what's new in Microsoft Education and get a sneak peek at what's coming soon.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided. It is recommended that you bring your own device, however, there will be some Microsoft Surface Pros available to borrow.
