Description

This workshop provides participants with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills to implement effective interventions to address conflict, bullying & respectful relationships. A range of tools are provided based on current research and best practice to implement & embed sustainable whole school approaches. Strategies are based on positive psychology & strength-based principles with the goal of improving student wellbeing, relationships and whole-school restorative processes to effectively resolve conflict & bullying incidents. Given the importance of positive peer relationships and the known impact of bullying on student wellbeing, this workshop is essential professional learning (an estimated 1 in 4 students report being bullied in-person and 1 in 5 report online bullying).  All students involved need support - those bullied, those bullying others and bystanders.  The workshop is interactive & engaging using evidence-based approaches.

Participants receive a comprehensive manual with information based on the latest research, practical whole-school plans, individual, group & class resources, sample plans, checklists, incident response scripts, readings & research.
