Description

This workshop provides participants with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills to implement effective interventions to address conflict, bullying, and respectful relationships. A range of tools is provided based on current research and best practice to implement and embed sustainable whole school approaches. Strategies are based on positive psychology and strength-based principles to improve student wellbeing, relationships, and whole-school restorative processes, effectively resolving conflict and bullying incidents. Given the importance of positive peer relationships and the known impact of bullying on student wellbeing, this workshop is essential professional learning (an estimated 1 in 4 students report being bullied in-person and 1 in 5 report online bullying).  All students involved need support - those bullied, those bullying others, and bystanders.  The workshop is interactive and engaging, using evidence-based approaches.

Participants receive a comprehensive manual with information based on the latest research, practical whole-school plans, individual, group, and class resources, sample plans, checklists, incident response scripts, readings, and research.
